The Activator Method® is a  widely researched chiropractic spinal alignment tool and the only instrument adjusting tool with clinical trials to support its efficacy.

The Activator Method uses a small, hand-held tool called the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver a gentle impulse to the spine and the extremities with the goal of restoring alignment and motion without a traditional chiropractic adjustment

  • According to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, more than half of full-time American chiropractors report using the Activator Method in their practices.

How does it work

The Activator Adjusting tool provides a quick, low-force impulse at specific points.

Why use activator

  • It’s very specific, adjusting the exact area you need to adjust.

  • Good for people who have problems that make a traditional chiropractic adjustment dangerous

  • The adjustment is done at a high speed with a low force.

  • Extremely safe and gentle, making it comfortable for all ages.

Sacro-occipital Techique

Sacro-occipital Technique
Sacro-occipital Technique

Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) is a  gentle and innovative technique of Chiropractic founded in 1925 by Dr De Jarnette, It is so named because of the relationship between the sacrum (base of the spine) and the occiput (base of the skull). When the sacro-iliac joints become misaligned, or subluxated. This has the effect of rotating the hips and tilting the sacrum. When our bodies work correctly, the spinal discs allow enough space between the spinal bones for delicate nerves to exit. When our bodies are out of whack these disc spaces can become compromised by an alteration to the disc, which may irritate the nerve just beside it. When correcting the misalignment I will use two blocks that will be placed under your pelvis in specific positions and directions. Your body weight and breathing motions then normalise the sacro-iliac joint discs and the spine.
