BIKE DOWN, RIDE THE TRAIN UP, SPEND THE NIGHT IN RENO
What: We are going to ride our bikes on the Tahoe Pyramid bikeway, 1500 feet down, 36 miles and some will drive down to Reno . Then spend the night in Reno. At the Sands resort and bring your bathing suit so we can hang by the pool(hopping that it is warm enough). I just went on kayak and got the best deal for a room. Then ride Amtrak back to Truckee the next day. It leaves Reno at 8:36 am and I am thinking blood Mary’s for the ride back.
When leave Saturday October 9th at 9 from Paco's, 9:30 from my house in Olympic Heights, 11464 e. Ridge Rd. and 10:00 from the Glenshire general store and return the next day. Paco’s is going to Transport our bikes back to Truckee because you can't take your bike off the train in Truckee. There are only forty bike spots. So claim your spot by making a 10.00 dollar or more donation to the Truckee bike park, at https://www.truckeebikepark.org/donate Book the train ride back on Amtrak.com it is the California zephyr leaving Reno at 8:36am
